Job summary

KIPP Tulsa Public Charter Schools in Tulsa, OK seeks a Day‑To‑Day Substitute Teacher to provide instructional support in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, across multiple campuses, with a flexible, part‑time schedule.

You will maintain routines, facilitate lessons, monitor safety and behavior, record attendance, and collaborate with teachers and administrators. A minimum of 48 college credits or 2+ years working with children is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college credit hours OR 2+ years working with children in an educational setting.
• Experience with children is an asset.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Adapt quickly to varying classroom environments and materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established routines and procedures of assigned classrooms.
• Facilitate daily academic instruction in alignment with the curriculum during assignments.
• Oversee student safety and behavior during the school day as needed.
• Record student attendance daily for compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support a professional work environment.
• Travel between KIPP Tulsa campuses within the region as needed.
