Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience at our Portland, ME practice. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics to support comprehensive care.

The role offers a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), with no nights or weekends, and strong production-based compensation within a modern, patient-centered environment and mentorship from a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and oral tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
