City of Peoria is hiring for Teacher/Caregivers in the AM/PM Before and After School Program for the 2026/2027 school year. Work at multiple elementary school sites within Peoria Unified School district, helping children ages 5-14 with literacy, arts and crafts, and STEAM activities.

Ideal candidates support a safe, engaging environment, with flexible weekday shifts and opportunities to build a high-quality program. We value passion for child development and meaningful daily impact.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing the execution of an activity, event or program with limited direction.
• Experience supervising and monitoring children by actively participating with them and leading activities and FUN!
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to make a difference for youth of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities for children ages 5-14.
• Supervise and monitor children, actively engaging with them.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver safe, engaging before/after school programs.
