Job summary

Tri-County Therapy in Ladson, SC is seeking a PRN Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for afternoons. This clinic-based position offers a flexible schedule with an established pediatric caseload and a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

You will evaluate and treat children with speech, language, communication, and feeding needs, develop individualized plans, educate families, and coordinate with OTs and PTs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current South Carolina SLP license
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification
• Pediatric experience through employment or clinical rotation
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• A family-centered approach to pediatric care

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and communication needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths and needs
• Help children build meaningful, functional communication skills
• Develop home programs and strategies to promote carryover outside of therapy
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress
• Assess and support AAC needs when appropriate
• Complete evaluations, daily documentation, progress reports, plans of care, and discharge documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, educators, physicians, and other professionals involved in the child's care
