Job summary

Primrose School of Winfield is seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher to create a safe, engaging environment for infants and toddlers through purposeful play, fostering social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.

The role offers afternoon hours (2:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.) Monday–Friday with potential additional hours; competitive pay in the $18–$23 per hour range plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Commitment to building positive relationships with staff, families, and the community.
• Experience in licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.

Responsibilities

• Feeding, diapering, and attending to infant/toddler needs.
• Engage infants and toddlers in play and learning activities while monitoring progress and milestones.
• Implement daily the provided infant/toddler curricular activities according to policies and Primrose philosophy.
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and confidently make decisions aligned with health and safety standards.
