Job summary

BrightBee Oakland seeks an After School Program Associate to support students in local schools, helping them learn, grow and succeed in a safe, encouraging environment. You will welcome students after school, supervise activities, assist with homework, and communicate with parents and teachers.

The role offers flexible assignments 2–5 days per week, with shifts 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM, and potential for longer-term opportunities. Training and safety guidelines are provided.

Qualifications

• Background in behavior-focused roles or related fields is a plus.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish is advantageous.
• RBT experience or similar credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead engaging group activities, from PE to arts and STEM.
• Provide homework help and small-group tutoring to reinforce learning.
• Maintain supervision during transitions, snack and recreation periods.
• Assist with daily operations, including attendance and materials.
