Job summary

Stanbridge University seeks dedicated Adjunct Vocational Nursing faculty to educate and mentor future nurses. Responsibilities include delivering theory and clinical instruction across campuses, focusing on Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Mental Health.

Teaching may occur in classrooms, labs, and clinical sites with flexible scheduling. Applicants should have a California RN or LVN license, a Bachelor’s degree, and at least four years of recent clinical

Qualifications

• Current, active California RN or LVN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience within the past five (5) years.
• Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience within the past five (5) years.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Previous teaching or precepting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• ATI and CourseKey experience preferred.
• Up-to-date immunization records required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and/or theory instruction using approved course materials.
• Develop instructional strategies that engage students and promote clinical judgment.
• Evaluate student competency using established clinical and academic standards.
• Foster a professional learning environment that promotes accountability, integrity, and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student grades, attendance, and performance.
