Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1+ year healthcare experience preferred; willingness to train new grads.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures.
• EMR experience, EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Take triage and vital signs accurately.
• Document patient history in EMR promptly.
• Collect routine lab specimens (blood, urine, oral swabs).
• Administer medications and injections (IM, subcutaneous, intradermal).
• Start IVs, place catheters, and assist with splinting.
• Support occupational medicine services and drug screening.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance; handle administrative tasks.
