Job summary

Vassar & Company Properties is seeking experienced plumbers to support our residential and commercial property portfolio in the Tampa Bay area. This is a 1099 contractor role with flexible, appointment-based scheduling; work is assigned based on service requests, maintenance, and renovation projects.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install and replace systems, perform service calls, support make-ready projects, and communicate findings clearly while meeting codes and maintaining

Qualifications

• Valid Florida plumbing license or applicable certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience in residential and/or light commercial plumbing
• Must provide own tools and equipment
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems independently
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters, etc.)
• Install, maintain, and replace plumbing systems and components
• Perform service calls for occupied and vacant properties
• Support renovation and make-ready projects
• Identify issues and recommend long-term solutions
• Communicate job status, findings, and completion updates
