OGD Overhead Garage Door is seeking experienced residential garage door technicians who are ready to expand into commercial doors, loading docks, and gates as flex technicians on a 1099 contract. You will perform commercial and residential repairs, installations, and maintenance with a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of residential garage door experience (W-2 or 1099 accepted).
• Must own a pickup truck 20 years old or newer.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. and use ladders/scissor lifts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to service jobs within a ~90-mile radius of the market center.
• Willingness to attend an initial 12-Day commercial training session in Fort Worth, TX to learn OGD's commercial service standards and systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete commercial service calls — doors, loading docks, and gates.
• Perform residential garage door repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose customer concerns and provide effective solutions in a professional manner.
• Use OGD's job-routing platform to accept available jobs and communicate job status.
• Maintain a high level of customer service throughout each job.
• Perform all work in accordance with industry-standard safety practices.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and ladders and/or scissor lifts.
• Remove and haul away old garage doors and equipment.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and work order updates.
