A leading IT consultancy in California is looking for an experienced Flexera FNMS Administrator. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in software asset management, particularly with Flexera FNMS. The role involves ownership of incident management and collaboration with various tech teams. Proficiency in SQL Management Studio and strong communication skills are essential. This position offers a 12-month contract with competitive compensation.

• Experience with FNMP installation/upgrades and system upgrades on FNMS.

Job Title: Flexera FNMS Administrator

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Universal City, CA

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years of ADMIN experience on Flexera FNMS for software asset management
• Must have knowledge on software license management and optimization
• Must have experience of FNMP installation/upgrades/fix packs and should have led/executed system upgrades on FNMS
• Should have knowledge and hands‑on experience on Windows/Unix/Linux environments
• Ownership and execution of incident management and system maintenance, assisted by our offshore team
• Must have worked with Infrastructure and Workplace technology teams with hands‑on experience building/maintaining interfaces to pull/push raw license consumption information
• Proactive communication with the internal team and external end‑user community
• Driving continuous support and process improvements
• Comfortable working within SQL Management Studio and IIS
• Work with other tech teams as needed to decompose servers, update scripts so the correct information is retrieved from the servers
• Work with Procurement teams, publisher representatives, VARs and license managers
