Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Flex Security Officer!

Location: PLANO, TX

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Availability: Must be available between mornings and evenings (6:00 AM - 10:00 PM). Ability to work full-time hours as a FLEX is highly required. Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if needed. Must respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience in security and customer service fields. The site is a headquarters location, requiring the highest level of professionalism, customer service, and excellent work ethics. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Acknowledge and greet residents and guests courteously.
  2. Manage guest/visitor access and eject trespassers when necessary.
  3. Verify credentials of individuals and vehicles.
  4. Maintain visitor logs and notify residents of visitors.
  5. Enforce policies and assist in protecting property and personnel.
  6. Monitor for suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft, or other crimes.
  7. Operate surveillance cameras and alarms.
  8. Patrol interior and exterior areas to identify risks.
  9. Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or possession of prohibited items.
  10. Respond to emergencies and contact first responders.
  11. Report safety and security concerns promptly.
  12. Complete and submit reports accurately and on time.
  13. Enforce rules and regulations.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and Texas State Security license.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least one year of customer service and security experience.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening.
  • Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, climbing, etc.
