Job summary

GCI Security, Inc. seeks Unarmed Flex Security Officers to cover varying client sites in the St. Louis area. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with 2nd and 3rd shift coverage, including weekends, and a pay rate of $20.00/hour.

Officers may fill in for different locations with 16–32 hours weekly, depending on coverage needs. Applicants should be dependable, adaptable, and able to learn site-specific post orders quickly. Prior security experience and a valid St.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid St. Louis County security license required.
• Prior professional security experience required.
• Must be available for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekend coverage.
• Must be willing to work at different client locations in the St. Louis area.

Responsibilities

• Fill open security assignments when others are unavailable.
• Report to different client locations based on staffing needs.
• Learn and follow post orders for each location.
• Maintain a professional security presence during shifts.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols and monitor areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and client concerns.
• Write incident reports and use reporting systems.
