Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $81,120 annually

• Weekly pay guarantee

• Travel required, up to 100 percent

• Driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral

What you will do:

  1. This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed.
  2. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
  3. Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
  4. Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

Schedule:

  1. Dispatch times will vary depending on the work assignment.
  2. Drivers can expect to be away from home for 2 to 3 weeks per assignment.
  3. Drivers will travel to assigned location and work from there for the duration of the work assignment.

You will drive:

  1. Late model, Penske maintained trucks.

Qualifications:

  1. CDL Class A required.
  2. Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
  3. 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
  4. 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  5. Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
  6. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
  4. The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
