Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to travel regionally and work at various locations. You will perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships and unload cargo using pallet jacks and hand trucks, while scanning items with a handheld scanner.

This role requires compliance with safety standards and a valid CDL. The position offers a substantial average annual pay of around $120,000, with travel up to 100%.

What you will do:

• Travel regionally to work at various locations as needed.
• Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.

Schedule:

• Dispatch times vary depending on work assignment.
• May be away from home 1 to 3 weeks per assignment.
• Travel to assigned location and work from there for duration of assignment.

You will drive:

• Late‑model Penske‑maintained trucks.
• Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort and safety.
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in‑cab cameras to ensure safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Hold or be able to obtain a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Will complete Penske employment application, undergo background investigation and drug screening.
• Will work required schedule and locations; maintain readiness for safety‑sensitive duties; accept responsibility for safety of self and others.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach. May lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly, up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally.
• Must operate motor vehicle safely and enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area regularly.
