Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a certified or certified-eligible Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Provider Flex Team for PRN coverage across outpatient clinics, including primary care and urgent care/walk-ins.

Education: Master’s in Nursing or PA studies; 2+ years outpatient APP experience preferred; MI NP/PA license and BCLS required. Oracle Health is the EHR. Benefits include CME, retirement match, and paid time off.

• 2+ years experience as an APP in outpatient medicine preferred.
• State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license required; BCLS Certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide gap coverage to patients when a provider is unavailable (illness, PTO, bereavement, retirement).
• Support Munson outpatient clinics including primary care and urgent care/walk-in sites as part of the Provider Flex Team.

  • Charlevoix: 8a-6p
  • Gaylord FP, IM: 8a-5p
  • Grayling FP, and SD: 8a-6p
  • Lewiston: 7a-6p
  • Indian River: FP, Ped, SD: 7a-7p
  • Petoskey FP, UC: 8a-7pm
  • Prudenville FP, UC: 7a-7p
  • Roscommon: 8a-6pm
  • Mio: 8a-5pm
• To provide “gap” coverage to our patients when a provider is unavailable, due to illness, PTO, bereavement, retirement.

Standard Qualifications:

• Education / Training:
