Job summary

Securitas USA Corporate Security is seeking a full-time officer in Tualatin, OR. The role includes monitoring premises, access control, patrolling multiple sites, and delivering strong customer service using Microsoft Suite and Vision devices.

Shifts are varied (Thurs-Sun and others) with a flex schedule that supports career advancement. Perks include medical, dental, vision, 401K, life/AD&D, telemedicine, paid time off, uniforms, and more.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driver Certification required.
• Must be comfortable with long periods of standing and / or walking.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conducts vehicular and foot patrols of the interior / exterior of 10 - 12 buildings two times per one eight-hour shift - (may patrol areas where several different types of chemicals may be stored).
• Performs audits of security devices, door locks, and card readers on a weekly basis.
• Provide assistance during emergency situations - (Officer must follow all directives given to them by Control Room Officers).
• May be trained as a Control Room Officers.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
