Sunstates Security is hiring for Flex Security Officers in the Glasgow, KY area, 3rd shift. You will be part of a large, growth-oriented private security firm with competitive pay and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• 1 Year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement Expereince preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be trained at various posts to support operational need.
• Work shifts that vary by need and posted schedules.
• Accept offers to shifts as they become available.
• Occasionally be called with short notice to cover gaps.
• Work any scheduled shift within availability.
• For short-notice calls, aim to work at least 80% of shifts.
• Security Officer duties per Post Orders and SOP.

Sunstates Security is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Flex Security Officers in the Glasgow, KY area. We are currently recruiting for the 3rd Shift. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $15.50 per hour, with weekly payment.

Flex Officer Explanation

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

Scheduling Expectations

• You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
• Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
• You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
• You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet. If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date or time that would normally fall within your availability described on this sheet, you must communicate this with your supervisor, so they know not to schedule you.

For short‑notice call‑ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
