Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Variable Shift Patrol in Huntsville, AL. Expect a 30–40 hour week with shifts that vary week to week via manager assignments and the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program. Irregular shifts with little notice are common.

Qualifications

• Able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel to work locations.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure authorized removal of property
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; keep logs
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders
