Job summary

Allied Universal in Omaha, NE is seeking a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Patrol Deployment. You will perform patrols, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents across client sites, gaining varied experience and advancing within the company.

You're expected to work 30–40 hours weekly with flexible, shift-based scheduling and notice provided by Earn More, Claim-A-Shift. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation and be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized entrants and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
