Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Patrol - Coverage Support in Bellevue, WA. The role involves 30–40 hours per week with a fluctuating schedule and participation in the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

You will perform security patrols, monitor for security concerns, and respond to incidents. The position requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work irregular shifts; a background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be willing to travel varying distances.
• Applicants must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
