Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Patrol Driver in Ontario, CA. The role offers 30-40 hours per week with varying shifts through our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

You will patrol sites by foot or vehicle and respond to security events, while gaining broad site exposure and career growth opportunities. Requirements include at least 1 year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and availability for branch-flex shifts including nights, holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Available for Branch Flex shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Able to travel for Branch Flex assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and verify proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
