Position Summary

Provides direct security and related public services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, staff, patients, and visitors; serve as a deterrent to illegal activities; supervise at-risk patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses or certifications
• Strong vision abilities
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift, lift objects up to 80 lbs., assist in restraining or lifting individuals
• Valid driver's license and adherence to driving guidelines (if applicable)

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working with the public in a service setting

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Work hours vary; may exceed 40 hours/week, including evenings and weekends. Environment may be fast-paced and stressful. Physical activities include sitting, walking, handling objects, climbing stairs, occasional lifting up to 25 lbs., and visual requirements.
