Flex Officers On Call for Weekends

$17.00 - $18.00 p/hr

Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays, if needed. Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
  • Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
  • Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
  • Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
  • Monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
  • Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
  • Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking, and possession of prohibited items
  • Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and emergencies such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
  • Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
  • Ensure all rules/regulations are enforced and followed
  • Other duties as determined by management

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid FL Security D License
  • Valid FL Driver's License
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience
  • Minimum of one year of security experience
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
  • This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time
