Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Flex HOA Access Control Relief in Orange, CA. This role offers 30-40 hours per week with a flexible schedule and a pay rate of $21.58 per hour, serving diverse client sites and providing hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

You will patrol, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents, with opportunities for advancement and long-term career development within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be available to work varying shifts including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Be able to travel the required distance for assignments.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the property.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft of company property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
