Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Flex - Access Control and Patrol in Hershey, PA. You will monitor entrances, check badges, and perform site patrols while delivering friendly customer service at a dynamic, welcoming workplace.

The role is part-time with a flexible schedule across all shifts and days. Requirements include minimum 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, access control and alarm panel experience, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control / badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Be comfortable with computer and related technology.
• Customer service experience.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff per site policies.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security.
• Respond to incidents calmly following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around site and perimeter.
• Assist with emergency response activities per site procedures.
• Observe and report security incidents or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and vandalism.
