Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flex Access Control in Newville, PA. You will monitor entrances, check badges, and patrol sites to deter incidents while delivering top-notch customer service. The role emphasizes integrity, reliability, and using technology to support daily tasks.

This flex full-time position requires availability for all shifts and days, with a pay rate of $18.54 per hour. Training and growth opportunities are provided as part of a benefits-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.
• 6 months of security experience or equivalent.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff per site policies.
• Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security.
• Respond to incidents calmly following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular/patrols to deter suspicious activity and identify issues.
• Assist with emergency response per site procedures.
• Observe and report security incidents or hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and vandalism.
