Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Saint Paul, MN is hiring a Flex Security Officer for full-time, day-to-evening shifts. You will help maintain a safe, secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling multiple client sites.

This role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, calmness under pressure, and the ability to work independently. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, paid training, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 18 years of age or older and legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce regulations to maintain safety.

• Operate security technology devices during shifts.
• Conduct property tours and respond to emergencies when required.

Flex Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: St. Paul, MN

Wage Range: $20.80-$21.65/HR

2nd & 3rd Shift Available!!

The Flex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.

• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.

• Conduct tours of the property.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.

• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.

• Must be able to work independently.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.

• Must have a professional demeanor.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Previous security / law enforcement / military experience preferred.

• Must be able to travel to several sites across the metro area.

• CPR / FA certifications.

• Safe Driving certification.

• Must have a strong command presence.

• Must be comfortable engaging with the public constantly and stepping in during irate customer situations.
