Responsibilities

Summary

As a Flex Security Officer, you will often be the first person people interact with at an assigned client site. You will maintain a positive environment and experience for guests. Flex Officers will gain broad and specialized knowledge of various posts and will be evaluated for leadership potential. Reliable performance can lead to supervisory or leadership roles, with opportunities for career growth within the company. Flex Officers help ensure all security posts are covered, providing a deep bench of qualified officers ready to stand in for full-time and part-time employees when needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Observing and reporting activities and incidents, ensuring property and personnel security and safety.
• Making periodic patrols to check for irregularities, inspecting protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Enforcing regulations and directives regarding personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controlling access to client sites or facilities.
• Patrolling assigned sites on foot or in vehicle, checking for hazards, security violations, and unauthorized persons.
• Protecting evidence or scenes of incidents.
• Responding to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, bomb threats, flooding, and hazardous materials.
• Preparing logs and reports as required.

We let you inform us of your availability and non-availability to create mutually beneficial schedules. Most shifts are 2nd and 3rd shifts, with opportunities for weekly calls based on your availability. Shifts often occur at retail locations we cover.
