Overview

Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
2. Provide general security duties to our clients.
3. Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
4. Understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
5. Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures, as well as DSI’s safety manual.
6. Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.

This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements.

Pre-employment Requirements:

1. Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. A valid driver's license is required.
3. A valid Guard Card is required.
4. Must have reliable means of transportation and means of communication.
5. Must pass all required background and drug screenings.

Salary: $19.50

DSI is adding to its ranks in the Sacramento, CA area. Come join our fast-growing team as a Flex Security Officer. Applicants for this position must be licensed by BSIS unarmed.

This position will require the Flex Security Officer to work at multiple locations in the surrounding Sacramento, CA area. The successful candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule that may change from week to week and include availability to work any shift needed with short notice at times.

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Certification Requirements: Valid State Driver's License, BSIS Guard Card
