Job summary

Dunbar Security Solutions is seeking a full-time Security Officer to help ensure the safety of residents, visitors, and property across various locations. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Position requires a valid driver's license, the ability to clear an MVR check, and a strong attention to detail. Benefits include Medical, Life, Vision, Dental insurance, Paid vacation, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must be able to clear MVR check.
• Previous security or customer-facing experience preferred.
• MD Unarmed Security Guard Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Fill in at various security locations as needed due to call-outs, vacations, or scheduling gaps
• Conduct regular inspections and use surveillance systems to identify potential concerns
• Respond promptly to incidents, conducting emergency services when necessary
• Deter theft, vandalism, and trespassing by enforcing rules and policies
• Digitally create incident and activity reports with detailed observations
• Perform regular interior and exterior patrols, securing access points
• Support property management with additional safety duties as assigned

Pay:$19.50 to $20.00/hr.

The Dunbar team is looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-time Security Officer. In this role, you will help ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and the property.

As a Security Officer, you will:

• Fill in at various security locations as needed due to call-outs, vacations, or scheduling gaps
• Conduct regular inspections and use surveillance systems to identify potential concerns
• Respond promptly to incidents, conducting emergency services when necessary
• Deter theft, vandalism, and trespassing by enforcing rules and policies
• Digitally create incident and activity reports with detailed observations
• Perform regular interior and exterior patrols, securing access points
• Support property management with additional safety duties as assigned

You will be a great fit if you have:

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• The ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors during patrol
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Scheduling:

• This is a Full-time position averaging 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts when available
• Shifts may include evening, weekends, and holidays depending on site needs
