Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol Driver in Ontario, CA. The role involves patrolling designated areas on foot or by vehicle, responding to alarms, controlling access, and supporting client needs across varied sites.

Work hours are 30–40 per week with shifts that change weekly through our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. You will be assigned to irregular shifts with little advance notice to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Availability to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Reliable transportation is required; valid driver’s license as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
