Job summary

Comstock-Companies is seeking a Valet Parking Attendant to provide friendly, efficient service to customers, tenants, and guests at Reston Station. You will park and retrieve vehicles, greet clients, and ensure safe, orderly operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work legally in the United States. Fluency in English and strong customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer-service field.
• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years driving history.
• Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to present driving record.
• Ability to work legally in the United States.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing).

Responsibilities

• Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles safely.
• Greet and assist customers, tenants, and guests on arrival and departure.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Inspect vehicles for damage before parking.
• Explain parking rates and procedures to customers.
• Report accidents to the manager on duty immediately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Valet Parking Attendant provides exceptional service to customers, tenants, and guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. In this key role, you willbe responsible forparking and retrieving vehicles in apromptyet safe manner.Assistcustomers, tenants, and guests upon arrival and departureatReston Station.

Responsibilities

• Comply withtraffic regulations tooperatevehicles in a safe manner
• Exhibit a professionaland courteousdemeanor with all customers, tenants, and guests
• Acknowledge, greet, and welcomecustomers, tenants, and guests, usingappropriate protocols
• Assistcustomers, tenants, and guestswith loading and unloading belongings as needed
• Responsibly and safely park and retrieve guest vehicles
• Before taking any vehicle, assess and document vehicle damage
• Accurately record the location of all valeted vehicles
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures tocustomers, tenants, and guestsupon arrival
• Immediately report any accidents to manager on duty
• Maintainasafe,cleanand neat work environment by following standards and procedures
• Maybeaskedbymanagementtocompletesmallcleaningormaintenancetasks according to the company's maintenancechecklists
• Maybeaskedtofillinforfrontlineassociatesduringtheirabsences
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of at least 1 year experience in customer-service related field
• High School Diploma/ GED and 3 years of drivinghistory
• Required to have a validdriverslicense with no restrictionsor major infractionsandmust be able topresent most recent driving record
• Must be able to perform basic math in relation to American money, understand rates applicable to time passed, and understand 24-hour and military time systems
• Must be able to drive a stick shift (manual and automatic)
• Able to speak, read, and write English fluently
• Must be able to work legally in the United States
• Must pass background and drug screenings
• Required to meet immunization or health screening requirements
• Ability todemonstrateprofessionalism, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for customer service and attention to detail
• Must be highly credible and trustworthy, andoperatewith high degree of integrity

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Push, pull orlift upto 50 pounds
• Continuous repetitive motions
• Work under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold), under variable noise levels, outdoors/indoors, around fumes and/or hazards, around dust and/or mite hazards, around chemicals andbio-hazards
