Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Night Shift Patrol in Salem, NH. The role offers 30–40 hours per week with a self-scheduling option and irregular shifts to support client needs.

Pay rate is $20.81/hour. Candidates must have 6 months security experience, pass background checks and drug screens, and hold a DoD Secret clearance. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel varying distances to work sites.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aide customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
