Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and provide care for a group of 8–13 students. The role includes supervision, mentorship, and coordinating daily routines within a structured, family-like setting.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both aged 27 or older, with a high school diploma or GED. Responsibilities include transportation, devotions, and budgeting within the student homes.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27+.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort leading devotions and accompanying students to Judeo-Christian services.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
