Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples live in student homes and supervise a group of 8–13 students, guiding academic, emotional, and social development in a family-style environment.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routine management, attendance at devotions and Sunday Chapel, plus budgeting and reporting. This is a demanding, rewarding career with comprehensive benefits and housing.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role requiring both spouses to be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to a group of students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules in assigned homes.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational engagements.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance for students.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
