Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and support 8–13 students with daily supervision, routines, and activities.

Responsibilities include mentoring, managing schedules, administering medications, and leading devotions and Chapel attendance. On hire, couples follow a nine-on, three-off pattern, with a transition to a placed homecare role over time.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving and engaging in development and recreational activities with students; leading devotions.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
