Job summary

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Flexi/PRN CT Technologist to perform Computed Tomography imaging under physician supervision and per protocol. The role requires ARRT or CNMT certification and CT registry within 2 years of hire, plus Radiologic Technology education and BLS.

You will operate CT equipment safely, educate patients, document findings, and manage contrast administration while adhering to radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Certification/Licensure: ARRT or CNMT (Required); ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT imaging under the direction of a supervising physician and per protocol.
• Operate CT equipment safely and complete department documentation; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Administer CT contrast per protocol and follow radiation safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about the CT procedure and safety; ensure clean and ready equipment.
