GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Flex Armed / Tactical Security Guard to patrol various environments, verify access, and respond to incidents in the San Francisco area. The role demands vigilance, physical stamina, and quick decision-making across day, swing, and overnight shifts.

Candidates must hold a state security license, BSIS 32-hour trainings, and an armed security permit, and be able to work in the U.S. with HS Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have a state security license and 32hr BSIS security trainings (training can be obtained during hiring)
• Must be 21 years old
• Must have one year of armed security experience
• Must have active exposed firearm permit
• Must have baton permit
• Must have OC spray permit
• Must have handcuff permit
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• HS Diploma or GED documentation required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Location: San Francisco, CA / East Bay, CA / South Bay, CA
• No set schedule: Candidates must be flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) as scheduling needs may vary.
• Competitive hourly wage of $33 -$35 / hour [depending on site pay rate] (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Qualifications of for a Flex Armed / Tactical Security Guard

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have one year of armed security experience
• Must have active exposed firearm permit
• Must have baton permit
• Must have OC spray permit
• Must have handcuff permit
• Please include your most up to date security resume
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
