Requirements
  1. Serve as the liaison between the Project Manager and project team members.
  2. Assist in developing, maintaining, and communicating project plans.
  3. Help to identify risks and issues associated with the program, and work with the Program Manager to develop mitigation strategies.
  4. Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any potential safety or federal compliance issues.
  5. Participate in program reviews and audits, providing input and recommendations for improvement.
  6. Assist in the implementation of quality assurance procedures.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
  8. Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  9. Have the authority to speak for and act for the Contractor in all matters related to providing services under this contract.
  10. Ensure strict adherence to all contractual obligations and Government regulations while maintaining proper documentation and performance records of contract personnel.
  11. Be available within 30 minutes during duty hours and within 2 hours for after-hours emergencies.
  12. Assist in managing and coordinating key operational areas, including firearms operations, vehicle maintenance, inventory management, and scheduling.
  13. Ensure all assigned personnel meet physical and medical requirements necessary to perform their duties effectively.
Qualifications
  • The Alternate Project Manager (APM) shall have prior experience, a minimum of one (1) year on federal contracts of similar size.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or related field or 3-5 years' experience in project management, program coordination, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrated experience and working knowledge typical of work under this contract (for example, Firearms, Vehicle Maintenance, Scheduling, Inventory, etc.).
  • Management experience in a government, military, or law enforcement training environment.
  • Prior experience managing budgets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking ability and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain federal clearance for access to FLETC facilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English and be physically able to perform assigned work.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
