Job summary

Fox Rent A Car is seeking a Wash Attendant Lead to coordinate daily vehicle-cleaning operations and QA inspections, ensuring fleet cleanliness and safety. You will work with the Manager on Duty and multiple departments to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the cleaning and ready-line process.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility to cover days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Previous rental car experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily vehicle-cleaning operations with the Manager on Duty and department management.
• Perform quality-control inspections and spot checks on vehicles throughout the shift.
• Track vehicle cleaning, fueling, fluids, and servicing requirements.
• Coordinate lot setup and ensure vehicles are classified and parked in the correct stalls.
• Communicate vehicle status with Counter Leads, Manager on Duty, Fleet Production, and Operations teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized wash bay, PCCA, and ready-line area.
• Complete vehicle quality-assurance audits for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
• Run and post the reservation manifest by vehicle class and time.
• Complete incident and accident reports and submit to the Manager on Duty.
