Job summary

Piston Tank Corporation is seeking a Wash Bay Technician to clean and maintain our fleet of trucks, trailers, and related equipment. You will operate pressure washers, perform detailing, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.

This role supports our operational efficiency and professional image, with full health benefits and weekly pay. Prior experience in vehicle washing is preferred and uniforms are provided.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Wash Bay Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining company trucks, trailers, and other fleet vehicles to ensure they meet safety and appearance standards. This role supports operational efficiency and helps maintain the company's professional image.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate pressure washers and other cleaning equipment to wash trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Perform detailing tasks, including cleaning wheels, undercarriages, and hard-to-reach areas.
• Inspect vehicles during cleaning for damage, leaks, or maintenance issues and report findings.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow all environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area.
• Complete wash logs and documentation accurately.
• Additional duties may include parts pickup, general shop/building maintenance.
• Perform related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years related experience
• Previous experience in vehicle washing or similar role preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb in and around trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
• Ability to work in confined or hard-to-reach areas, including under and around vehicles.
