Via is seeking a hands-on Utility Technician in Salt Lake City to help maintain vehicle safety, reliability, and readiness. You will support repairs, perform routine maintenance, and assist with cleaning and equipment handling to keep the fleet ready for service.

Attention to cleanliness, compliance with safety protocols, and effective communication with Fleet Managers are essential. The role requires initiative, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Proactive and reliable team member with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep schedules.
• Comfort with basic vehicle maintenance tasks and diagnostics.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance; shuttle vehicles to vendors and inspect for readiness.
• Perform smaller maintenance tasks (e.g., tire swaps, light repairs).
• Clean and maintain vehicles; support on-the-ground tasks.
• Assist with in-fleeting and de-fleeting of vehicles; collaborate with Fleet Managers.
• Support operations with miscellaneous on-the-ground responsibilities.
