Job summary

BTI Wyoming is seeking a skilled mechanic to keep tractors in top condition, performing oil changes, tire services, and preventive maintenance. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support wrecker services to minimize downtime for drivers across Wyoming.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical knowledge, and the ability to lift 100 pounds. CDL is preferred but not required; safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge is required.
• High school diploma or GED; trade certificates are a plus.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds and work in adverse weather.
• Must follow safety procedures and work well in a team.
• Class A CDL is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter changes, and other service work on tractors.
• Change tires and replace brake drums.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Roadside repairs including tire replacements.
• Wrecker support and preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers.
