Job summary

Trex Company is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to ensure accurate processing of inbound wood trailers and oversee the fleet maintenance yard. You will validate inbound trailers, log weights on arrival, coordinate movements of all trailers, and ensure paperwork accuracy while maintaining a safety-first approach.

Preferred experience includes JD Edwards or other ERP systems and prior fleet operations or driver relations roles.

Qualifications

• Required: A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One-to-five years of logistics experience.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first - always.
• Work as a team to drive our "people first" culture
• Validate and process all inbound wood trailers.
• Log the weight of loaded wood trailers upon arrival
• Coordinate movements of all inbound and outbound trailers
• Inspect the condition of the inbound trailers and coordinate maintenance when necessary
• Verify paperwork received from drivers and report discrepancies
• Coordinate daily movement of wood trailers to the plant
• Use data to ensure trailer usage is being optimized
