Job summary

PAM Transport is hiring for a trailer inspector in Texas. You will thoroughly inspect trucks and trailers to ensure safety and compliance for operation. The role focuses on exterior inspections, tire and lighting checks, and coordinating entrance/departure of equipment from the yard.

Shift options run Sunday to Tuesday 8am–8pm and Wednesday 8am–2pm, with pay range of $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Basic trailer knowledge required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Makes inspections of trailers entering and exiting the yard.
• Inspects tires, lights, and other exterior components for safe operating conditions.
• Inspects trailers arriving from Mexico for damage or mechanical defects.
• Ensures timely and authorized entrance and departure of equipment.
