Job summary

Marten Transport in Weirton, WV is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to diagnose and repair tractor and reefer equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, rebuild components, and complete repair orders while helping meet fleet cost targets.

Requires High School diploma with post‑secondary training or two+ years’ tractor maintenance experience. The company offers health, dental, vision, 401K (90 days) and an annual tool/boot allowance for full‑time employees.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and component rebuilds preferred.
• Commitment to EPA and Safety policies and clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractor and reefer equipment to meet fleet cost targets.
• Rebuild components and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Complete repair orders, log hours and parts to each unit.
• Attend trainings and apply what is learned.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and perform additional duties as needed.
