Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is looking for skilled technicians to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for various vehicle types, including semi-trucks. Candidates must diagnose mechanical issues and conduct routine maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred.
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across various vehicle types.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers.
• Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.
• Respond to roadside service calls using a service truck.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow safety protocols.
