Best-One Tire & Service in Owensboro, KY is seeking a dependable Commercial Tire Technician to install, rotate, balance, inspect, and repair commercial tires both in shop and on the road. You will assist with retreads, perform fleet inspections, and safely operate specialized equipment.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with a positive attitude and strong team spirit.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with others.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, rotate, balance, and repair tires in shop or at customer locations.
• Safely separate and reassemble tires onto wheels using specialized equipment.
• Locate and seal tire punctures (patch and plug).
• Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly by scraping, grinding or sandblasting.
• Prepare retreads and discuss tread with customer; load on truck and stage as needed.
• Unload retreads and stack in warehouse area.
• Perform fleet inspections to assess tire needs and make recommendations.
• Safely operate shop machinery and equipment including jacks, balancers, and diagnostic tools.
