Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Tire Technician to install tires on tractors and trailers, manage inventory, and maintain equipment. This full-time role may require outdoor work, night and weekend shifts, and overtime.

You will mount and dismount tires using company guidelines, stock tire sets, perform yard checks, and ensure safety and organization across the tire yard.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work outdoors and across shifts including nights/weekends.
• Own basic tools or use toolbox purchase program.

Responsibilities

• Install tires on tractors and trailers using company guidelines.
• Observe all company safety requirements.
• Maintain tire inventory and organize the tire yard.
• Load and unload tires; move tires to and from equipment.
• Mount and dismount tires on rims with proper safety procedures.
• Perform tire yard checks and inspect tires for serviceability or warranty.
